I am a big fan of travel. It is harder to get out there now that I am tied down to a 9-5 but I still *try* to leave the country at least once a year (Canada counts!). There are many reasons for this but definitely one of my favorites is getting a chance to sample local cuisine (I could do an entire post just on India; their food is so colorful and enticing!). I’m not crazy adventuresome, unlike my dad who ate fried tarantula in Cambodia, but I do like to absorb as much local flavor as possible.
